- Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years (during 2021-22 to 2025-26 and continuing in 2026-27).
- Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railway’s level AND two events at State Level.
- Age Relaxation:
- Serving Railway employees (3+ years continuous service): Level-2 & Level-1: UR-40 yrs, OBC-43 yrs, SC/ST-45 yrs.
- Widows/Divorced/Judicially Separated Women (not remarried): Level-2 & Level-1: UR-35 yrs, OBC-38 yrs, SC/ST-40 yrs.
- Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division (01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989): 5 years relaxation.
- Staff of Quasi Administrative Offices of Railway Organizations: 5 years or service rendered, whichever is less.
- Ex-Servicemen: Service rendered in Defence + 3 years (minimum 6 months service after attestation, up to 40 years for reservists not in Government Service).
