Selection Procedure

  • Selection will be made on the basis of Academic Score and Written Examination Score / Skill Test (wherever applicable).
  • Farm Manager/T4, Programme Assistant (Computer)/T4, Programme Assistant (Lab Technician)/T4, Assistant: Selection based on Academic Score (max 70 marks) + Written Examination (max 230 marks) = Grand Total 300 marks. Written exam duration: 2 hours. Pattern: Subject Matter (50 Qs, 100 marks) + General Knowledge & Reasoning (40 Qs, 80 marks) + Language (25 Qs, 50 marks). Each correct answer: 2 marks; Wrong answer: -0.50 marks (negative marking).
  • Stenographer Grade-III: Academic Score (max 50 marks: 0.20 x High School + 0.30 x Intermediate) + Written Examination (max 250 marks: Subject Matter 50 Qs/100 marks + GK & Reasoning 50 Qs/100 marks + Language 25 Qs/50 marks) = Grand Total 300 marks. Additionally, a Dictation & Typing Test on Computer (qualifying only) will be conducted. Passing the skill test is mandatory to be included in the merit list.
  • Driver/T1: Academic Score (max 50 marks: 0.50 x High School marks) + Written Examination (max 150 marks: General Knowledge 25 Qs/50 marks + Driving skill/road signs/vehicle operation 50 Qs/100 marks) + Driving Skill Test (100 marks) = Grand Total 300 marks. Written exam duration: 1.5 hours.
  • Academic Score includes Sports/NCC/NSS bonus marks (max 5 marks): Sports-National level-5, State level-3, University level-2, District/College level-1; NCC ‘C’ Certificate-5, ‘B’ Certificate-3, ‘A’ Certificate-2; NSS-2 marks.
  • Shortlisting for document verification: 10 times for one post, followed by 5 times for each additional post from the merit list.
  • In case of tie in marks, priority will be decided on the basis of date of birth (older candidate gets priority); if date of birth is also same, priority goes to the candidate with higher marks in written examination.
  • Final selection list will be prepared after document verification.

  • These posts are for Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) which is 100% ICAR funded. All expenditure will be borne from ICAR funds.
  • Posts are temporary and are likely to continue as long as sanction of the scheme continuance is available from ICAR. In case of closure of KVKs, services shall be terminated automatically.
  • There is a separate cadre for KVK staff. The university will not absorb the candidate in any capacity after termination of the scheme.
  • Posting/transfer of the incumbent shall be within Krishi Vigyan Kendra (as per ICAR/KVK norms) of the University.
  • Pay scale and other service benefits will be as permitted by ICAR.
  • Reservation policies will be strictly followed as per UP Govt. rules. Horizontal reservation for PWD, dependent of freedom fighter, women, sportsperson, and ex-serviceman will be applied as per UP Govt. rules.
  • OBC and EWS candidates must submit current year certificate as per the prescribed Proforma of UP State Govt.
  • Candidates must be citizens of India. Knowledge of local language is preferable.
  • Separate online application (along with application fee) should be filled for each post applied for.
  • Candidates currently employed in Government/Semi-Government organizations/Public Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies must bring a ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ from their present employer at the time of document verification.
