- Written Competitive Examination (MCQ): A single-stage objective type MCQ-based competitive examination will be conducted via CBRT (Computer Based Response Test) or OMR method.
- Part-A (90 Marks): Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 marks), Constitution of India & Current Affairs & Comprehension (30 marks). Minimum qualifying standard: 40%.
- Part-B (120 Marks): Questions related to technical qualification (Radiophysics, Digital Radiography, Radiographic Quality, Radiation Protection, Dark Room, Newer Modalities, General). Minimum qualifying standard: 40%.
- Total: 210 questions, 210 marks, 3 hours (180 minutes).
- Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- Bonus Marks: 5% of marks added for recognized sports persons (National/Inter-University/AISS level) and widows.
