Selection Procedure

- CET Phase-I (Already Conducted): Candidates must have qualified Common Eligibility Test (CET) Advt. No. 01/2025 Group-C with minimum 50% marks (General Category) or 40% marks (Reserved Category).
- Application Shortlisting: Out of candidates applying for the post, maximum 10 times the total number of advertised posts will be shortlisted for skill and/or written examination based on CET merit.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates for Prison posts must meet minimum height and chest measurements as prescribed.
- Physical Screening Test (PST): Qualifying in nature only. Male candidates: 2.5 km run in 12 minutes; Female candidates: 1.0 km run in 6 minutes; Ex-Serviceman: 1.0 km in 5 minutes.
- CET Phase-II Written Examination (Skill/Written Test): 100 MCQs, 100 marks, duration 1 hour 45 minutes. Offline (OMR-based). Bilingual (English & Hindi). Minimum qualifying marks: General Category 50%, Reserved Category 40%. No negative marking for wrong answers, but unattempted questions carry -1 mark.
- Merit List Preparation: Final merit list prepared based on marks obtained in written/skill examination. In case of tie, older candidate gets preference; if DOB is same, higher CET Phase-I marks are considered.
- Document Scrutiny: Verification of uploaded documents by the Commission and indenting department at the time of appointment.

- Tie-Breaking Rule: In case of equal marks, older candidate gets preference. If DOB is also same, higher CET Phase-I marks are considered.
- OMR Sheet: Pencil should not be used. If more than one circle is darkened, that answer will not be evaluated. Smudging/scratching/erasing on OMR sheet will result in cancellation.
- Biometric Verification: Candidates may be called for biometric data capture. Mismatch will result in cancellation on grounds of impersonation.
- Answer Key Objections: Fee of Rs. 250/- per objection (non-refundable) within specified period.
- Reservation: Reserved category benefits available only to bonafide residents of Haryana State. Candidates from other States/UTs will be considered as General Category only.
