- Scheduled Area / Non-Scheduled Area: Vacancies are divided into Scheduled Area (Anusuchit Kshetra) and Non-Scheduled Area (Gair Anusuchit Kshetra). Only local residents of Rajasthan’s Scheduled Area can apply for Scheduled Area posts.
- Reservation: Horizontal reservation for Women (30%), Ex-Servicemen (12.5%), Outstanding Sports Persons (2%), and PwD (4%) as per applicable rules. Category-wise reservation: SC 16%, ST 12%, OBC 21%, MBC 5%, EWS 10%.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS male candidates (Rajasthan domicile); 5 years for General category women; 10 years for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS women (Rajasthan domicile); 15 years for Ex-Servicemen; 5 years for PwD (benchmark disability) in addition to category relaxation; No upper age limit for widows and divorced women (subject to retirement age). - OTR Fee Block Policy: If a candidate is absent in two exams in a financial year, their OTR facility will be blocked. Reactivation requires penalty fee of Rs. 750/- (first time) and Rs. 1500/- (second time).
- Application Modification: Candidates can modify their online application during the application period and up to 3 days after the closing date (fee Rs. 300/-). A second opportunity for modification (excluding name, DOB, photo, signature, thumb impression, and educational qualification) is available for 7 days after the exam.
- Probation Period: All directly recruited persons will be on probation for 2 years. During probation, fixed remuneration (no pay scale, no allowances like HRA, DA, etc.) will be paid as per government orders.
- Marriage Registration: Marriage registration is mandatory for appointment in government service as per government circular dated 22-05-2006.
- Disqualification Conditions: Male candidates with more than one living wife; female candidates married to a man with a living wife; candidates who accepted dowry at marriage; candidates with more than 2 children born on or after 01-06-2002 (with exceptions); candidates debarred by RSSB for malpractice.
