Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Written Examination: 360 marks – 120 objective type (MCQ) questions; 30 questions on General Knowledge and 90 questions on the relevant subject. Duration: 2 hours. Each correct answer carries 3 marks; 1 mark deducted for wrong/multiple answers (Negative Marking).
- Interview/Viva Voce: 40 marks.
- Total Merit: 400 marks (Written 360 + Interview 40).
- Tie-breaking criteria (in order): Written exam marks → Interview marks → Post Graduate percentage → B.Ed./Training qualification percentage → Age (older candidate ranked higher).
- Candidates must appear at the allotted exam centre only. Change of centre is not permitted.
- OMR Answer Sheet to be filled with black ball-point pen only.
- Shortlisted candidates for interview will be informed via SMS, email, and the official website at least 10 days in advance.
