Selection Procedure:

Common Eligibility Test (CET): Selection for Group-D posts (except posts where minimum educational qualification is below Matriculation) shall be done on the basis of CET marks (100% weightage for Group D).
Examination Pattern: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), 100 marks total, Duration: 1 Hour 45 Minutes. Offline (OMR based) written examination. Question paper is Bilingual (English & Hindi) at Matriculation level.
Negative Marking: No negative marking for wrong answers. However, for every unattempted question (where the fifth circle is not filled), there shall be a deduction of 1 mark.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: General Category: 50% | Reserved Category (vertical and horizontal): 40%.
Merit List: CET score (100% CET marks) will be used to shortlist candidates. In case of tie, the older candidate gets precedence; if date of birth is also same, alphabetical order of first name (in English) is used.
Willingness/Consent: For Group-D posts, only willingness/consent of eligible candidates shall be obtained by the Commission before declaration of final result.
Recommendation: Commission shall recommend names to the concerned department for appointment to Group-D posts based on CET merit list.

Candidates must register on the designated portal: onetimeregn.haryana.gov.in before submitting the application.
Candidates who registered for CET Advt. No. 1/2022 or CET Advt. No. 1/2025 must use the same CET Registration Number.
New applicants will be allocated a new Registration Number.

Previous CET Validity: Candidates who qualified CET Group D on 12th January 2024 have valid scores up to 11th January 2027. Their marks (out of 95) will be converted to percentage for combined merit list.
Reservation: Benefits available for DSC, OSC, BCA (Non-Creamy Layer), BCB (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, PwBD, ESP, ESM, Disabled ESM, Family Members of ESM/Disabled ESM, and Dependents of Freedom Fighters (bonafide Haryana residents only).
PwBD Facilities: Scribe facility and compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour (35 extra minutes for 1 hr 45 min exam) available for eligible PwBD candidates.
Answer Key: Published on official website after exam. Objections can be filed within specified period with fee of Rs. 250/- per objection (non-refundable).
Biometric: Commission may call candidates for biometric data re-capture at any stage. Biometric mismatch leads to cancellation and debarment.

Malpractice: Candidates found guilty of malpractice will be debarred for 2 to 5 years depending on the type of offence, and may also be prosecuted under The Haryana Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2021.
