Selection Procedure

1. Staff Car Driver:
- Stage 1 – Written Exam (100 marks): Questions related to Motor Vehicle Act. Minimum 33% marks required to qualify for Stage 2.
- Stage 2 – Practical Exam (100 marks): Minimum 40 marks required; failing which the candidate will be declared ineligible.
- Additional 5 marks for candidates holding a skilled mechanic certificate from Polytechnic/ITI/authorized dealer for four-wheeler/heavy vehicles.
- Merit list prepared based on practical exam marks + additional marks. Tie-breaking by date of birth (older candidate ranked higher).
2. Lift Man:
- Stage 1 – Written Exam (100 marks): Questions on wiring, electrician work, lift operation and maintenance. Minimum 33% marks required to qualify for Stage 2.
- Stage 2 – Practical Exam (100 marks): Minimum 40 marks required; failing which the candidate will be declared ineligible.
- Additional 10 marks for candidates presenting a certificate of lift operation knowledge and experience.
- Merit list prepared based on written + practical + additional marks.
3. Contingency Fund Employees:
- Selection through Skill Test relevant to the applied post.
- Merit list prepared based on marks obtained in the skill test.
Probation Period: Selected candidates for Staff Car Driver and Lift Man will be appointed on 3-year probation, extendable by 1 year if not successfully completed.

- Reserved posts for SC/ST/OBC are only for bonafide local residents of Chhattisgarh state. Applicants from other states will be considered only for unreserved posts.

- 30% posts reserved for women are only for local female residents of Chhattisgarh. If unfilled due to lack of suitable women candidates, such posts will be filled by male candidates of the same category and will not be carried forward.
- PwD candidates must have at least 40% disability and must present a UDID certificate at the time of appointment as per state government memo F-13-4/2023 dated 29-05-2023.
