- Nature of Engagement: Contractual basis; not considered as re-employment in the Bank. No claim for any benefit/compensation under provisions of any Act/Rules applicable to regular Bank employees.
- Term of Engagement: Initial period not exceeding one year, extendable till the age of 65 years subject to annual review of task and performance by the competent authority.
- Termination: Bank may cancel/terminate the contract at any time without assigning any reason with 30 days’ notice or payment of one month’s remuneration in lieu thereof. The retired officer must also give 30 days’ notice for pre-mature termination.
- Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct departmental inquiries as Inquiring Authority; maintain strict secrecy; submit inquiry report within 180 days; travel as required with prior permission; refusal of 3 consecutive inquiries without valid reason may result in disempanelment.
- Annual Review: Performance reviewed annually by Vertical Head (HCM) considering Turn Around Time (TAT) and quality of findings.
- Age Limit for Assignment: No further inquiries will be assigned once the empaneled executive attains 65 years of age; pending inquiries must be completed.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of Courts situated at Mumbai.
- Medical Fitness: Appointment subject to being declared medically fit as per Bank’s requirements.
- No Objection Certificate: Candidates serving in nationalized banks or Financial Sector Regulatory Bodies must produce a NOC from their employer at the time of interview.
