- Fourth Priority (10% Reservation): 10% of vacant posts reserved under Manual Scavengers Act. If eligible candidates are not available, these posts will be filled from other identified victims or their family members (spouse, son/daughter).
- Remaining Vacancies: Filled from other categories after giving priority to categories 1 to 4.
- No reservation applicable under Karnataka SC/ST/OBC (Reservation in Appointments etc.) Act for direct payment recruitment.
- Selected candidates must submit a Notary Affidavit confirming they will not demand permanent employment and will abide by government orders.

- Recruitment is under Direct Payment (Nera Pavati) basis for Poura Karmika (Sanitation Workers) in Bidar Mahanagara Palike and Basavakalyan Nagarasabhe under Bidar District.
- 50% of Poura Karmika posts are filled by direct recruitment and the remaining 50% through direct payment as per government guidelines.
- Total sanctioned posts (at 700:1 ratio based on 2024 population estimate): Bidar MCC – 222 posts (17 filled, 205 vacant); Basavakalyan TMC – 120 posts (1 filled, 59 vacant).
- Selected workers are appointed on a temporary basis and are not entitled to benefits given to permanent employees.
- Selected workers cannot demand permanent employment individually or through unions, and cannot approach any court for permanency.
- Workers must perform only sanitation/cleaning work and cannot be assigned to office or other duties.
- No other person can perform duty in place of the selected worker.
