- Upload Degree/Diploma certificate (as applicable) and a valid government-issued ID on the NATS portal. An Enrolment Number / Apprenticeship Registration Number will be generated.
- Ensure your Aadhaar number is seeded with your bank account and enabled for DBT payment.
- After NATS registration, apply through the UMANG portal at https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/: Register & Login → Search for ‘URSC Apprenticeship’ → Apply for position → Fill all required details → Submit application.
- Upload the following documents in jpg/jpeg/png format (each file not exceeding 1 MB): (a) Marks certificates of all semesters/years of B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in one file; (b) B.E./B.Tech./Diploma Certificate / Provisional Certificate / Passing Certificate.
- Upload scanned photograph (max 50 KB) and signature (max 50 KB) in jpg/jpeg/png format.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates must upload the latest caste certificate (max 50 KB, jpg/jpeg/png) issued by the Competent Authority.

- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act 1973, or who have one year or more experience from any institution, or have been terminated or resigned from Apprenticeship Training, are NOT eligible.
- Combining apprenticeship with other institutions is not permitted.
- Only candidates who passed out during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible. Candidates who passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2021 are not eligible.
- Only candidates who completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are eligible. Sandwich course, certificate, private college degree, short-term/certificate courses are not acceptable.
- Candidates pursuing higher studies are not acceptable.
- The training period is 12 months from the execution of the Apprenticeship contract.
- Selected candidates must execute a contract of Apprenticeship training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act 1973.
- Selected candidates must submit a Medical Certificate stating their fitness at the time of joining.
- Trainees will have no claim for employment in URSC, Bengaluru or any other Centres/Units of ISRO/Department of Space after completion of training.
- Category-wise vacancy distribution: Graduate (220): SC-31, ST-14, OBC-59, EWS-22, UR-94; Technician (120): SC-17, ST-8, OBC-30, EWS-12, UR-53; Commercial Practice (70): SC-10, ST-4, OBC-18, EWS-7, UR-31.
- EWS candidates must produce income and assets certificate valid for 2025-2026 in the prescribed Government of India format.
- PwBD candidates with 40% or more disability must produce a valid disability certificate and Unique Disability Identity Card at the time of document verification.
- In case of multiple/duplicate applications for the same discipline, only the latest application will be considered.
- No interim correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
