Other Important Information:
- Contract Basis: Engagement is on fixed term contract basis in the Engineering Department for an initial period of one year, extendable based on performance and requirement of KRCL.
- Annual Increment: Annual remuneration will increase by 4% of the consolidated remuneration after completion of every year, subject to KRCL’s requirement and discretion.
- Other Allowances/Facilities:
- Life Insurance premium reimbursement up to Rs. 500/month.
- Medical Allowance of Rs. 500/month for OPD facility; Health policy premium reimbursement up to Rs. 500/month.
- Travel Allowance (TA) for official travel beyond project area as per KRCL policy.
- Complementary Railway Pass for travel on duty as per KRCL policy.
- Rest House facility or hotel reimbursement as per KRCL rates while on duty.
- Leave: 15 days earned leave per 6 months (2.5 days/month, accumulable, no encashment); 8 days Casual Leave per year; weekly off and public holidays as applicable.
- No Accommodation/Food: No accommodation or food/mess allowance will be provided by KRCL.
- Indemnity Bond: Selected candidates must execute an agreement and indemnity bond of Rs. 50,000/- on stamp paper of Rs. 100/- or more.
- No Permanent Absorption: Selected candidates will not be absorbed in KRCL regular service and must give an undertaking to this effect.
- Joining Period: Selected candidates must join within 30 days of issuance of offer of appointment.
- Termination: One month notice required by either party for termination of contract or payment in lieu thereof.
- Posting: Selected candidates can be posted and transferred anywhere in KRCL establishment during the contract period.
- Canvassing: Any kind of canvassing will result in disqualification at any stage of selection.
- Number of Posts: Total 8 posts (Junior Technical Assistant: 3; Junior Technical Assistant/Design & Drawing: 5). Number of posts liable to change as per project requirement.
