Other Important Information
- Engagement Period: One year or up to the date of appointment of persons on regular basis, whichever is earlier.
- Preference: Candidates with experience in handling telecommunication equipment, especially those who served in the Signal Corps of Armed Forces/CAPFs, will be given preference.
- Eligibility: Ex-servicemen of Armed Forces/CAPFs and ex-Constables of disbanded HSISF/HAP Battalions. Candidates must not have been removed/dismissed on grounds of indiscipline, misconduct, or medical unfitness. Minimum 5 years of service required.
- Medical & Character: Medical category at discharge must be ‘A’. Character certificate at discharge must be ‘Exemplary/Outstanding’.
- Honorarium: Rs. 20,000/- per month (deposited directly in bank account, not in cash).
- Uniform Allowance: One-time Rs. 3,000/- for two sets of uniform, one pair of shoes, and other necessary uniform articles.
- TA/DA: Rs. 150/- per day when on official tour. No TA/DA for appearing at document submission/interview.
- Ex-gratia Compensation:
- Death in action: Rs. 10 Lakhs
- Permanent disability: Rs. 1 Lakh to Rs. 3 Lakhs
- Grave injury: Up to Rs. 1 Lakh
- Natural death: Rs. 3 Lakhs to family
- Posting: SPOs will not be posted at their home police stations; however, preference will be given to home district subject to availability.
- Deployment: SPOs can be deployed anywhere in Haryana during emergent situations for short duration.
- Termination: Services can be terminated at any time by the SP Telecommunication without notice on grounds of indiscipline, misconduct, unsatisfactory performance, or non-requirement. The decision of SP Telecommunication, Haryana shall be final with no appeal to any superior officer.
