- The post of Senior Resident is a tenure post for a maximum duration of 03 years.
- The initial tenure of appointment shall be for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years subject to satisfactory performance.
- If a candidate has worked as a Senior Resident in any Government medical institution (regular or ad-hoc/contract basis), the duration already served will be reduced from the 3-year tenure.
- Applicants should not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency under the Residency Scheme in any Government medical institution.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC candidates. No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
- PWD age relaxation: up to 10 years (General), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST).
- 4% of total posts are horizontally reserved for PWD candidates with benchmark disability.
- OBC-NCL certificate must be issued during 01.04.2026 to 31.03.2027 to be valid for this advertisement.
- In case no application is received under EWS category, UR candidates may be considered.
- Candidates already in government service must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of interview.
