- Probation Period: Selected candidates shall be on probation for a period of one year.
- Emoluments: Besides Basic Pay, candidates will be paid Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA). Other benefits include Perquisites @ 35% of basic pay, North-East Allowance @ 10% of basic pay (if posted in North-East region), HRA, CMER, Medical Facility, Post Retirement Medical Scheme (PRMS), Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (DCPS), etc.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years; OBC (NCL): 3 years; PwBD-General/EWS: 10 years; PwBD-OBC(NCL): 13 years; PwBD-SC/ST: 15 years; J&K domicile (01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989): 5 years; Ex-Servicemen: as per rules. Maximum upper age including all relaxations shall not exceed 56 years.
- Mark Relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD: Where minimum qualifying percentage is 60%/55%/50%, relaxed percentage for SC/ST and PwBD is 55%/50%/45% respectively.
- Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to candidate being medically fit as per company standards. Eye power criteria: Technical officers – Myopia not exceeding (-) 4.00D, Hypermetropia not exceeding (+) 4.00D; Non-technical officers – Myopia not exceeding (-) 8.00D, Hypermetropia not exceeding (+) 6.00D.
