Important Information:
- Contract Duration: Valid for a maximum period of 200 working days and a minimum period of 7 working days or availability of a regularly selected candidate, whichever is earliest.
- No Permanent Rights: Contract Teachers will not have any claim or right to continuity in service or automatic extension of contract. Service rendered on part-time contract will not be counted for regular selection through Railway Recruitment Board and will not form part of the cadre of railway teachers.
- Teaching Load: Maximum teaching periods allotted shall not exceed 5 per day.
- Duties: Contract teachers will perform all jobs related to academics including evaluation work, for which no additional payment will be made.
- No Benefits: Contract teachers are not entitled to leave, medical, passes, PTO, transportation, or vacation pay during Autumn/Winter break.
- Pro Rata Recovery: In case of absence from duty on working days, pro rata recovery shall be made. Formula: (Consolidated Monthly Remuneration × Number of Days Worked) / 30.
- Minimum Marks: At least 50% marks in the concerned subject is mandatory for each PGT/TGT and PRT.
- Documents Required at Interview: Date of Birth Certificate or Xth Board Certificate, NOC from current employer, Experience Certificate (if any), Academic/Educational Qualification Mark Sheets and Certificates (from recognized Institution/Board), Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.
- Accommodation: No accommodation will be provided for candidates appearing for interview. Candidates should be prepared to stay in Mumbai for a minimum of 3 days for viva.
