- Selection will be done through Computer Based Test (CBT).
- The CBT will be conducted in English medium.
- Online exam is tentatively scheduled from 31 October 2026 to 05 November 2026 in different shifts/dates depending on the number of applicants.
- A Selection List will be prepared based on CBT results; its validity will be 6 months from the date of issue.
- A Waiting List (minimum 1, maximum 25% of vacancies per category) will also be prepared; its validity will be 9 months from the date of issue.

- Document verification will be conducted; absence at verification will lead to disqualification.

- Nature of Appointment: Contract (Samvida) appointment for 1 year, renewable based on performance (confidential report). Appointment is purely temporary; no claim to regularization or permanent government service.
- Salary: Only a fixed monthly lump sum amount is payable. No DA, HRA, special pay, compensatory allowance, or annual increment is admissible.
- Domicile: Candidates must be permanent residents of Chhattisgarh state. Domicile certificate from competent authority is mandatory.
- English Medium Requirement: Candidates must have completed their qualifying education (Class 6 to Post-graduation) in English medium. This requirement is NOT applicable for Hindi and Sanskrit Lecturer/Teacher posts.
- TET: CG/CTET (Upper Primary Level) is mandatory for Teacher posts; CG/CTET (Primary Level) is mandatory for Assistant Teacher and Head Teacher (Primary) posts.
- Reservation: 100-point reservation roster followed as per CG Government norms. 30% posts reserved for women; 7% for Persons with Disabilities (as per Disability Rights Act 2016); reservation for Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
- Existing SEJES Contract Employees: Those already working in SEJES on contract cannot apply for the same post; they may apply only for a higher post (affidavit required at verification).
- No Pension/Death Benefits: Contract employees are not entitled to pension, death benefits, or any other benefits available to regular CG government employees.
- Termination: Either party can terminate the contract with 3 months’ prior notice or 3 months’ salary in lieu. On completion of contract period, service can be terminated without prior notice by the committee.
- Conduct Rules: Contract employees will be governed by CG Civil Services (Conduct) Rules 1965.
- Disqualifications: Candidates with more than one living spouse, those convicted of crimes against women, those who married before the minimum legal age, and those found medically unfit are not eligible.
