- Appointment Type: Contract basis initially for a period of 05 years with a notice period of 3 months from either side. Further extension based on annual performance appraisal report upto the age of superannuation in the Government of NCT of Delhi.
- Faculty Extension Criteria: Annual Performance Appraisal Report, Vigilance, Integrity, and publication of at least 2 papers in indexed journals in 5 years tenure.
- Medical Officer Extension Criteria: Annual Performance Report, Vigilance, Integrity, and Work & Conduct Report.
- Reservation: Reservation for DIVYANG (PWD) (OL) candidates shall be as per rules on horizontal basis. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Serviceman/DIVYANG (PH) candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
- OBC Certificate: Must be issued by Competent Authority of GNCT of Delhi only.
- Registration: Candidates must be registered with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council. After selection, registration with DMC shall be mandatory.
- NOC: Candidates presently working on regular/contract/ad-hoc or any other basis must enclose a No Objection Certificate from their present employer.
- Backlog: 2 posts of Assistant Professor (Paediatrics) under OBC category are Backlog (BL) vacancies.
- Right to Alter: Competent Authority reserves the right to alter the number of posts at any stage. All recruitment processes are subject to approval of the Governing Council of the hospital.
