Selection Procedure

- Documentation (DV): Candidates must produce all original documents/certificates pertaining to age, education, caste, sports achievements, and proof for age/height relaxation before the Recruitment Board.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates qualifying documentation will undergo PST. Standards: Male Height: 170 cm, Female Height: 157 cm; Male Chest (Unexpanded): 80 cm, Minimum Expansion: 5 cm. Relaxations applicable for certain categories.
- Sports Trial Test: Candidates qualifying PST will undergo Sports Trial Test conducted by a Board of Officers for their respective sports discipline. No marks are awarded for the trial test; it is qualifying in nature. Dope Test may also be conducted.
- Merit List: Merit list is drawn based on total marks obtained for sports certificates/achievements as per the marks table (Para 6(iii)). Tie-breaking: higher marks → older age → alphabetical order of name in English.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Candidates selected in order of merit will undergo DME as per CRPF/MHA medical guidelines.
- Review Medical Examination (RME): Candidates declared unfit in DME may undergo RME (preferably next day), subject to written consent within 24 hours.

- Sports Achievement Eligibility Period: Sports achievements/certificates must be from the last two years from the date of publication of the advertisement (i.e., from 30/09/2024 to 30/09/2026).
- Age Relaxation: UR: 5 years | OBC (NCL): 8 years | SC/ST: 10 years | Ex-Servicemen (UR): 8 years | Ex-Servicemen (OBC): 11 years | Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): 13 years (after deduction of military service).
