Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Competitive Written Examination: A competitive written examination (OMR Based or Computer Based Objective type Multiple Choice) will be conducted for all provisionally eligible candidates. The exam will be of Class 10th standard, with 150 questions to be answered in 2 hours. Subjects include General Intelligence (25 Qs, 75 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (25 Qs, 75 marks), General Awareness (50 Qs, 150 marks), and English Language (50 Qs, 150 marks). Each correct answer carries 3 marks and each wrong answer carries -1 mark.
- Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of performance in the competitive written examination. Normalized scores will be used if the exam is conducted in multiple shifts.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce original documents before the issue of Offer of Appointment.
- Tie-Breaking: In case of equal marks, ties will be resolved by: (i) lesser negative marks, (ii) older date of birth, (iii) earlier acquisition of essential degree, (iv) alphabetical order of first names.
