Selection Procedure:
- The Screening Committee prepares a list of all candidates in descending order of research score.
- Candidates must meet the minimum required research score – 75 for Associate Professor, 120 for Professor – calculated based on research papers, publications, ICT/e-content contributions, research guidance, patents, policy documents, awards/fellowships, and invited lectures.
- A minimum of 30 candidates for the first vacancy, and 10 candidates for every additional vacancy in each category, are called for interview based on rank in the screening list. All candidates scoring equal to the cut-off for a category are also shortlisted.
- Shortlisted candidates are assessed through a presentation, graded A (Excellent), B (Good), C (Average), or D (Poor) by a Presentation Assessment Committee. This assessment is indicative only and not binding on the Selection Committee.
- The duly-constituted Selection Committee makes the final selection decision, which is final and binding.
Note: Mere fulfilment of the minimum qualification or eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Publications “under submission” or submitted to referees are not considered for scoring, and research score is calculated only from a minimum of three out of six specified categories.
