Selection Procedure

Stage 1: Screening Examination (Computer Based Test – CBT)
- Qualifying in the Screening Exam is only for the purpose of appearing in the Main Examination.
- Screening Exam marks will NOT be included in the final merit.
- From candidates who obtain the category-wise minimum qualifying marks, only 10 times the number of advertised posts per category will be shortlisted for the Main Exam.

- Exam Pattern: 60 marks – Subject related to post; 10 marks – General English; 10 marks – General Knowledge; 10 marks – Reasoning; 10 marks – Mathematical Aptitude
- Negative Marking: +1 for correct answer; -0.25 for wrong answer
- Qualifying Marks: 50% for UR/EWS; 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD
Stage 2: Main Examination (Computer Based Test – CBT)
- Final selection will be based solely on marks obtained in the Main Examination.
- Duration: 2 hours | Maximum Marks: 100 (MCQ format, bilingual – Hindi & English)
- Same exam pattern as Screening Exam.
- Final merit list prepared category-wise based on marks and reservation norms.
Stage 3: Skill Test (wherever applicable, e.g., Stenographer)
- Candidates equal to 5 times the number of posts per category will be shortlisted after Mains for Skill Test.
- Skill Test is qualifying in nature only; marks will NOT be counted in final selection.
- Final selection for such posts will be based on Mains marks of candidates who qualify the Skill Test.
