  • Applications will be shortlisted based on criteria decided by ESIC.
  • Shortlisted Advocates may be called for further interaction/interview before finalization of empanelment.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interaction.
  • The Selection Committee consists of the Regional Director, RO-Maharashtra and two external members of eminence from the Legal field.
  • The decision of ESIC regarding shortlisting and selection of candidates shall be final.

  • Empanelment Period: 2026–2029 (3 years).
  • Existing Panel Advocates: Advocates currently on the ESIC RO-Maharashtra panel shall cease to be on the panel after the new panel is finalized. They must apply afresh.
  • No Retainer Fee: No retainer fee shall be paid to any Panel Advocate merely because they have been empanelled.
  • No Right to Work: Empanelment only confers a right to be considered for legal work; it does not bind ESIC to award work to any empanelled Advocate.
  • Confidentiality: Empanelled Advocates must maintain strict confidentiality of all ESIC cases and matters.
  • Conflict of Interest: Advocates shall not advise any party or accept any case against ESIC during empanelment.
  • Performance Review: Performance of each empanelled Advocate shall be subject to periodical review.
  • Cancellation of Empanelment: Empanelment may be cancelled for reasons including false information, non-attendance, acting against ESIC instructions, passing information to opposite parties, poor performance, etc.
  • Termination Notice: ESIC may terminate empanelment with one month’s written notice without assigning any reason. Advocates may also apply for termination by serving three months’ notice.
  • Office Requirement: The Advocate should have an office at the place where empanelment is sought with adequate infrastructure.
  • Vacancy Note: The vacancy positions mentioned are indicative and may be changed as per requirement.
