- Nature of Appointment: Purely contractual. Selection does not confer the right of confirmation or continuation.
- Contract Duration: Teaching Faculty – initially for 1 year or joining of regular incumbent, whichever is earlier (terminable on 1-month notice or on joining of regular faculty or attaining age of 70 years). Senior Residents – initially for 1 year, extendable every year up to 3 years depending on satisfactory performance.
- Rolling Advertisement: This is a weekly rolling advertisement. Subsequent interviews will be conducted every Wednesday. Candidates can submit applications by Tuesday of every week if vacancy exists.
- Vacancy Updates: Updated vacancies will be published at www.esic.gov.in and Notice Board, Ground Floor, ESICMCH, Alwar.
- Reservation: As per Government of India guidelines. Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years for Senior Residents. OBC certificate should not be older than 1 year from date of interview. EWS posts are not carried forward as backlog vacancies.
- Private Practice: No private practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
- Retired Officers: Retired Government Officers shall be paid emoluments as per corporation rules. Pension from previous employment will not be deducted from consolidated pay.
- Medical Council Registration: Candidates must be registered with MCI/RMC or any State Medical Council before joining the post, if selected.
- No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be paid for appearing in the walk-in interview.
