- Probation Period: Three years as per Punjab Government rules. Initial basic pay of the scales will be paid during probation.
- Place of Posting: Selected candidates can be posted at Main Campus, Outstations, Outside Colleges, Research Stations, KVKs etc. of the University. Transfer policy as per University rules. Selected candidates can be deputed on night duty on rotational basis.
- Bond: Selected candidates for posts Sr. No. 1 to 5 shall execute a bond at the time of joining as per Registrar office Memo No. REG/E-1/2025/12150-12203 dated 18.12.2025.
- Age Relaxation: SC/BC: 5 years; PwD (Punjab residents): 10 years; Ex-servicemen (Punjab): as per Punjab Recruitment of Ex-Servicemen Rules, 1982 (total age not to exceed 3 years over upper age limit); Widows/Divorcees/certain married women: up to 40 years; In-service candidates (Govt/Semi-Govt/State Universities/Boards/Corporations): up to 45 years (through proper channel only).
- Reservation: Available only to residents of Punjab as per Punjab Government rules. Recent Domicile/Residence Certificate (not older than 5 years) is mandatory for all categories.
- Punjabi Language: Candidate must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi Language from Punjab School Education Board or any recognized Board on or before the last date of application.
- No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in written examination/proficiency test/document verification.
