- GSL is a Schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna Category I Company engaged in designing and building ships for Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, and other friendly countries.
- Apprenticeship Training is conducted under the Apprentices Act-1961 & Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules 2025.
- Only fresh pass-out candidates who completed their qualification in 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have not done apprenticeship earlier, or have completed only one apprenticeship in a different trade at least one year prior to the date of publication of this advertisement, are eligible.
- This is purely an apprenticeship training program; no regular employment will be provided after completion of training.
- Subject to availability, candidates may be placed for Advanced Training/Trainee Project Executive in shipbuilding activities at the discretion of Management.
- Shortlisted candidates called for test/interview will NOT be provided TA/DA.
- Applications not in the prescribed format, without supporting documents, or received via email will be rejected.
