Other Important Information
- Training Duration: One year, commencing from the date of execution of the contract of apprenticeship.
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who passed the qualifying examination in the last five years (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026) are ONLY eligible.
- Candidates with higher qualification are NOT eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or have job experience of one year or more after attaining the essential qualification, are NOT eligible.
- Only candidates who completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are eligible.
- Candidates whose results have not been declared/available as on the last date of submission are NOT eligible.
- No employment (Permanent/Temporary/Contractual) is offered at HEMRL or DRDO after completion of apprenticeship training.
- No TA/DA/accommodation/transport/medical facilities will be provided for any stage of the selection process or during training.
- Selected candidates will be informed through email with further joining instructions.
- Category-wise (General/SC/ST/OBC) seat allocation will be done in accordance with prevalent rules.
- PwBD candidates are eligible ONLY for designated trades as per Apprenticeship Rules 1992.

- Documents required at Joining: Valid Police Verification Certificate, Certificate of Physical Fitness from authorized Medical Officer of any Government Hospital, Undertaking for Indian Official Secrets Act 1923, Undertaking for IT Rules & Regulations of Ministry of Defence, Aadhaar-seeded bank account details for DBT Stipend, three recent passport size colour photographs.
