Clerk (Job Trainee)

- Qualification: i) Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University. ii) Minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi typewriting on Computer. Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.
- Age Limit: 18 to 45 years (as on 01-01-2026). Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC (HP domicile), PwD, HP Govt. employees, and Ex-servicemen of HP.
- Pay Scale: Consolidated fixed amount of Rs. 12,500/- per month (Job Trainee basis)
Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test: Objective type test of 120 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark, for a total of 120 marks and duration of 1½ hours. Subjects include: General Knowledge (including HP GK & Current Affairs), Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English & General Hindi (Matric Standard), and Word Processing on Computer.
- Typing Skill Test (Qualifying): Shortlisted candidates (based on CBT merit) will appear for a typing skill test. Minimum speed: 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi on Computer. This test is qualifying in nature.
- Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted after the skill test will be called for document verification of original certificates and self-attested photocopies.
Minimum Qualifying Marks (CBT): 45% for General category; 40% for SC/ST/OBC/WFF candidates. The Aayog may relax by up to 5% if sufficient candidates are not available.
Normalization: In case of multiple shifts, Z-Score Method (Mean and Standard Deviation Method) will be used for merit list preparation.
