Selection Procedure:
- The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible to be called for interview.
- NRSC reserves the right to screen applications based on eligibility criteria and may fix additional criteria for shortlisting candidates for interview.
- Screened-in/shortlisted candidates will be called for interview before a Selection Committee.
- Communication will be sent only through email to shortlisted candidates. The list of shortlisted candidates will also be placed on the NRSC website.

- Candidates called for interview must produce all relevant original documents including No Objection Certificate (if currently employed under Central/State Government, PSUs or Autonomous Bodies).

Only candidates allowed for interview after successful document verification will be paid eligible Travelling Allowance.

- Nature of Posts: All positions are purely temporary for a period of one year (subject to project validity), extendable up to a maximum of five years for JRF and RS positions based on performance review or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
- No Regular Appointment: Candidates appointed against these posts shall not have any claim or right for regular appointment in NRSC/ISRO/Department of Space.
- Place of Posting: Selected candidates will be posted at NRSC facilities at Hyderabad and Shadnagar (Rangareddy District). They may also be required to serve at RRSCs located at Delhi, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Kolkata, and Jodhpur. Candidates may be posted anywhere in India under DOS/ISRO.
- Eligibility Criteria (Marks): M.E./M.Tech: minimum 60% or CGPA 6.5/10; M.Sc/M.Sc Tech: minimum 65% or CGPA 6.84/10; B.E./B.Tech: minimum 65% or CGPA 6.84/10; B.Sc: minimum 60% or CGPA 6.5/10. Rounding of percentage/CGPA is not allowed.
- JRF Eligibility: Applicants for JRF positions (JRF30–JRF35) must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE or national level examinations conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc., with a valid score card in the relevant discipline.
- ODL Candidates: Candidates who have pursued B.Tech/M.Tech through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not eligible to apply.
- Only passed out candidates are eligible. Candidates awaiting final results need not apply.
- Degrees must be recognized by AICTE/UGC or any other organization authorized by the Government of India.
- Foreign University Degrees: Candidates must produce an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
- Medical Benefits: Selected candidates are eligible for medical benefits for self as per NRSC/ISRO rules. Female candidates are eligible for maternity leave as per GoI instructions.
