Relaxation: OBC - 3 years; SC/ST - 5 years; PwBD (Gen/EWS) - 10 years; PwBD (OBC) - 13 years; PwBD (SC/ST) - 15 years; Ex-Servicemen - Actual service + 3 years (max 50 years); Widows/Divorced Women - 7 years (max 35/38/40 years for Gen-EWS/OBC/SC-ST); Trained SBI Apprentices - additional relaxation as applicable.

- Probation Period: Minimum 6 months. Newly recruited Junior Associates must complete e-lessons prescribed by the Bank during probation for confirmation.
- Transfer Policy: No Inter Circle/Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates before completion of 5 years of service. After 5 years, transfer may be considered only in exceptional cases (Extreme Compassionate Ground/Spouse Ground) at the Bank’s sole discretion.
