Selection Procedure:

  • MPYPIL reserves the right to shortlist candidates for Interview cum Document Verification based on prescribed eligibility criteria and merit.
  • The selection process shall consist of Interview cum Document Verification.
  • The final merit/selection list shall be prepared based on eligibility, qualification, experience, suitability and performance in Interview cum Document Verification.
  • Shortlisted candidates shall be informed through notifications on the MPOnline Portal, Official website of the Transport Department, M.P., and via email.
  • In the event of a tie in the final merit, preference shall be given to the elder candidate. If candidates are of the same age, preference shall be given to the candidate securing a higher percentage in the prescribed essential educational qualification.
  • A Selection List and Waiting List may be prepared based on the final merit. The Selection List shall remain valid for one year from the date of its publication and may be extended by a further period of six months by the Appointing Authority.
  • No candidate shall be appointed unless found medically fit. The selected candidate shall submit a medical fitness certificate issued by a Government recognized medical board within the specified period.

Important Notes:

  • Contractual Appointment: All posts are contractual for a period of One (01) year, extendable at the discretion of MPYPIL.
  • Appointing Authority: The Managing Director, MPYPIL shall be the Appointing Authority for all appointments.
  • Retired Employees: Monthly remuneration shall be fixed either by deducting pension from the last drawn salary or at 50% of the last drawn salary.
  • Employees in Government/Non-Government Sector: Remuneration may be paid in accordance with the last drawn gross salary; the power to decide lies with the Managing Director, MPYPIL.
  • OBC Reservation: Final selection list shall be subject to the final verdict in Writ Petition No. 5901/2019 and other connected matters pending before the Hon’ble Madhya Pradesh High Court, Jabalpur.
  • Domicile: Horizontal and Vertical Reservation benefits are available only to eligible MP Domicile candidates. Non-Domicile candidates shall be treated as UR.
  • Age Calculation: Age shall be calculated as on 01.01.2026. Only Class 10 Passing Certificate/Mark Sheet or valid Government-issued age proof shall be accepted.
  • Probation & Absorption: Upon satisfactory completion of the prescribed probation period, contractual appointees may be absorbed into the designated post and pay scale. Chief General Managers are exempt from the probation period for absorption purposes.
  • Notice Period: Either party may terminate the contract by giving one (01) month’s prior notice or one (01) month’s consolidated pay in lieu thereof.
  • Disqualifications: Candidates with more than one living spouse, convicted of offences involving moral turpitude or offences against women, dismissed from previous service, or those who have solemnized marriage before the minimum legal age are ineligible.
  • Posting Location: Selected candidates may be posted at any office of MPYPIL or its subsidiary companies as decided by the Appointing Authority.
  • Dispute Resolution: All disputes shall first be resolved by the Appointing Authority; unresolved disputes shall be referred to the High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Portal Charges: Non-refundable portal charge of ₹200 (excluding GST) payable via online payment gateway or authorized MPOnline Kiosk.
  • Data Privacy & Confidentiality: Selected candidates must maintain strict confidentiality of all official information. The obligation continues even after expiry, resignation or termination of the contractual appointment.
