- A Scrutiny Committee constituted by the university will screen all valid applications using a point-based system.
- Shortlisting will be based on validation of the Academic/Research Score (API Score) as specified in Appendix II, Table 2 of the UGC Regulations 2018.
- Only candidates meeting the minimum required cumulative research score across categories (teaching, research publications, projects, patents, and policy documents) will proceed to the interview shortlist.
- The Scrutiny Committee will independently verify the impact factor and indexing (Scopus/Web of Science/UGC-CARE) of submitted publications.
- Shortlist ratio for interview: For 1 vacant post, the top 20 eligible candidates will be called. For every additional post, 5 additional candidates will be called. In case of a tie in scores at the cutoff mark, all tied candidates will be called for interview.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
- Only email will be sent to shortlisted candidates for interview calls.
