Other Important Information
- Training Duration: 1 Year (strictly for a period of one year in various locations across Northern, Western, Eastern, and Southern Regions or any other location on Pan India basis).
- Eligibility Exclusions: Candidates who have already completed or terminated their apprenticeship mid-way, or are currently pursuing apprenticeship with other organizations, are NOT eligible. Candidates who obtained their qualification through distance learning/part-time mode are NOT eligible.
- Experience Bar: No Engineering Graduate or Diploma Holder who has undergone/possessing training or job/work experience for a period of one year or more after attainment of the qualification shall be eligible.
- Post-Qualification Time Limit: Candidates who have completed three years post their Graduation/Diploma will not be considered.
- No Employment Guarantee: Apprentices shall have no right to claim regular employment from RCIL based on this apprenticeship at any point of time.
- No Additional Benefits: The Apprentice shall not be entitled to any other benefit/facilities/allowances apart from the consolidated stipend.
- Reservation Policy: As prescribed in the Apprentices Act 1961 & Apprenticeship Rules 1992. In case of non-availability of candidates in reserved categories, seats will be filled from other reserved/general categories.
- Location Allotment: Locations indicated are tentative. Candidates may opt for any location; however, allotment is subject to availability of RailTel’s presence at the selected location.
