- Common Eligibility Test (CET) – Senior Secondary Level 2026: This is only a qualifying/eligibility test. Merely appearing and scoring in CET does not guarantee a job.
- Written Examination / Interview: Candidates must also appear in the written examination or interview (or both) conducted by the respective recruiting agency for the specific post.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score a minimum of 40% marks in CET. SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of up to 5% in minimum marks.
- CET Score Validity: The CET score is valid for 3 years from the date of result as per Personnel Department notification dated 16-01-2025.
- Normalization: If the exam is conducted in multiple shifts/phases, normalization process will be applied.
- Exam Mode: Offline (OMR-based) exam scheduled from 23-10-2026 to 25-10-2026.

- CET Score Validity: Valid for 3 years from result date. Previous CET Sr. Sec. 2024 score expired on 16-02-2026; those candidates must apply again.
- No Limit on Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts for CET. The best available score (within validity) will be considered.
- Reservation: SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS candidates of Rajasthan get reservation benefits as per rules. Candidates from other states in reserved categories will be treated as General category.
- Women Reservation: 30% horizontal reservation for women (category-wise). Within women quota: 8% for widows and 2% for divorcees.
- Ex-Servicemen: 12.5% posts reserved for ex-servicemen (horizontal). Age relaxation of 15 years (max 50 years, or 55 years for posts requiring lower post experience).
- Outstanding Sports Persons: 2% posts reserved (horizontal). Must have valid sports certificate as per notification dated 21-11-2019.
- Divyang (PwD) Reservation: Horizontal reservation for eligible disability categories. Minimum 40% disability required. UDId card details mandatory in online application.
- Scheduled Area Candidates: Only local residents of Scheduled Areas of Rajasthan can apply for Scheduled Area posts.
- Absence Penalty: If a candidate does not appear in 2 exams in a financial year, OTR facility will be blocked. Penalty of Rs. 750/- for first block, Rs. 1500/- for second block.
- Application Correction: Candidates can correct their online application during the application period and for 3 days after closing (fee Rs. 300/-). A second correction window of 7 days is available after the exam.
