Selection Procedure

- Written Examination (Objective Type): Selection will be made through a written examination conducted either in OMR-based Offline mode or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode.
- Paper-I: General Studies and General Abilities – 150 Questions, 150 Minutes, 150 Marks (Bilingual: English & Telugu)
- Paper-II: Civil Engineering (Degree Level) – 150 Questions, 150 Minutes, 300 Marks (English Only)

- Qualifying Marks: OC, Sports persons & EWS – minimum 40%; BCs – minimum 35%; SCs, STs & PHs – minimum 30%.
- Merit List: Candidates will be selected in order of merit as per their rank in the merit list against available vacancies.
- Tie-Breaking: In case of equal marks, preference is given based on local status (Telangana locals first), then date of birth (elder candidate gets higher rank), then marks in subject paper(s), then date of passing qualifying examination, then percentage in qualifying examination, then higher qualification.
- Normalization: For multi-session CBRT, scores will be normalized and results announced on percentile basis.
- Medical Examination: Appointment of selected candidates is subject to being found medically fit in the appropriate Medical Examination.
