- Computer Based Test (CBT): All applicants for CA’A’, CH, FED(OG), and CMTD(OG) posts must appear in an online CBT consisting of 100 multiple choice questions (bilingual Hindi/English) for a duration of 120 minutes. CA’A’/CH: General Intelligence (20), General Awareness (20), Quantitative Aptitude (20), Trade Syllabus (40). FED/CMTD: General Intelligence (25), General Awareness (25), Quantitative Aptitude (25), General English (25).
- Qualifying Marks: UR – 35%, OBC – 30%, All other categories – 25%.
- Endurance Test (FED OG only): Candidates shortlisted in ratio 1:15 based on CBT merit will undergo Endurance Test (qualifying in nature): Carrying filled sand & water buckets (100m) in 45 seconds, Squats (20 nos), Pushup (15), Bent Knee Sit-Ups (15).
- Skill Test (FED OG): Candidates qualifying Endurance Test will appear for Skill Test covering driving tests, knowledge of road rules, motor mechanism, fire engine operations, first aid, firefighting knowledge, etc.
- Skill Test (CMTD OG): Candidates shortlisted in ratio 1:15 based on CBT merit will appear for Skill Test covering driving on ramp and road, vehicle inspection, lubrication, defect identification, etc. No Endurance Test for CMTD(OG).
- Final Merit: Based on CBT marks only (subject to qualifying Endurance/Skill Test as applicable). No Endurance/Skill Test for CA’A’ and CH posts.
