Bank Medical Officer (BMO-II)

- Qualification: Mandatory: MBBS from any recognized university/College approved by NMC/State Medical Council. Preferred: Post Graduate Diploma OR Post Graduate Degree of MD/MS or equivalent. Experience: MBBS holders - minimum 5 years as General Practitioner; Post Graduate degree holders - minimum 3 years as General Practitioner (internship experience not counted).
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years (as on 31.05.2026). Age relaxation: OBC-3 years, SC/ST-5 years, PwBD(UR/EWS)-10 years, PwBD(OBC)-13 years, PwBD(SC/ST)-15 years, Ex-Servicemen-5 years.
- Pay Scale: Middle Management Grade Scale – II: Basic Pay 64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960. Eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Non-Practicing Allowance @ 20% of Basic Pay, and other perquisites as per rules.
Selection Procedure

- General Aptitude (Qualifying): Test of Reasoning (15 Q, 15 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude (15 Q, 15 Marks), English Language (20 Q, 20 Marks) – 45 minutes. Marks not counted for merit.
- Professional Knowledge: 50 Questions, 100 Marks – 45 minutes. Marks counted for merit.
- Negative marking applicable for wrong answers.
- Interview: Category-wise adequate number of candidates shortlisted based on Online Written Test performance. Interview carries 100 marks.
- Weightage: Written Test – 70%, Interview – 30%. Final Merit List prepared based on normalization of marks with 70:30 weightage.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): Conducted for provisionally selected candidates before joining. Candidates who fail to qualify will not be offered appointment. Exempted if 10th/12th mark sheet evidences study of the specified local language.
- Final Selection: Based on merit in Online Written Test and Interview, subject to qualifying LLPT (where applicable) and document verification.
