- Written Examination (Objective Type): The selection will be based on a written examination conducted either in OMR-based Offline mode or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode.
- Paper I: General Studies and General Abilities – 150 Questions, 150 Marks, 150 Minutes.
- Paper II: Part A – Concerned Subject I (Education Theory and Practice) – 75 Questions, 150 Marks; Part B – Concerned Subject II – 75 Questions, 150 Marks. Total Duration: 150 Minutes. Total Marks: 300.
- Total Marks: 450 (Paper I: 150 + Paper II: 300).
- Qualifying Marks: OC/Sportspersons/EWS – 40%; BCs – 35%; SCs/STs/PHs – 30%.
- Normalization: Scores will be normalized for multi-session CBRT examinations.
- Tie-breaking: In case of equal marks, preference is given based on local status, date of birth (elder candidate ranked higher), marks in subject paper, date of passing qualifying examination, percentage in qualifying examination, and higher qualification.
- Appearance in all papers is compulsory. Absence in any paper will result in disqualification.
