Other Important Information

• Total Vacancies: 111 posts (89 in Co-Education Degree Colleges + 22 in Women’s Degree Colleges) in Non-Government Aided Colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
• Reservation: No vertical or horizontal reservation has been indicated for any category in the current recruitment cycle as per information provided by the Director of Higher Education, UP.
• Age Limit: Maximum age 62 years as on 01 July 2026. Applications without date of birth or with age exceeding 62 years will not be accepted.
• Disability (Divyangjan) Sub-categories: O.A./O.L./B./B.A./L.V./D./H.H./L.C./D.W./A.A.V. sub-categories are marked for Principal post.
• Tenure: A Principal will be appointed for a period of 5 years, extendable for another 5 years based on performance evaluation by a university-constituted committee.
• After Tenure: After completing tenure as Principal, the incumbent will resume duties at their original office with the designation of Professor at Professor grade.
• Exam Pattern: Part-A: General Knowledge (40 questions, 120 marks); Part-B: Administrative Aptitude Test (80 questions, 240 marks). Total: 120 questions, 360 marks.
• Scribe Facility: Available for Divyangjan candidates as per Government Orders dated 04 December 2019 and 08 September 2022. Candidates must register with the Commission office one week before the written exam. Additional time of 20 minutes per hour will be given.
• Application Language: Registration and application form must be filled in English. Roman script may be used for API proforma.
• OTR: One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory for all candidates before submitting the application.
• No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be paid for appearing in the written exam or interview.
• Date of Birth Proof: Only the date of birth mentioned in the High School (Class 10) or equivalent certificate will be accepted.
• Law College Principals: Bar Council of India norms will be considered for eligibility. B.Ed. college Principals: NCTE norms will be considered.
• Female Candidates: Female candidates may indicate preference for all four types of colleges (Post-Graduate Women’s, Graduate Women’s, Post-Graduate Co-Ed, Graduate Co-Ed). Male candidates must NOT indicate preference for Women’s colleges.
