- Paper-I (Primary Level – Class 1-5): 150 MCQs, 150 marks, Duration: 2.5 hours (150 minutes). Subjects: Child Development & Teaching Methods (30), Language-I Hindi (30), Language-II English/Urdu/Sanskrit (30), Mathematics (30), Environmental Studies (30).
- Paper-II (Upper Primary Level – Class 6-8): 150 MCQs, 150 marks, Duration: 2.5 hours (150 minutes). Subjects: Child Development & Teaching Methods (30), Language-I Hindi (30), Language-II English/Urdu/Sanskrit (30), Mathematics & Science / Social Studies / Any other subject (60).
- Qualifying Marks: General/EWS category: 90 out of 150 (60%). SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Freedom Fighter Dependents/Ex-Servicemen/Divyang: 82 out of 150 (55%).
- Score Normalization: If exam is held in multiple shifts/days, score normalization will be applied for comparative evaluation.

- OTR Mandatory: One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory before applying for the exam.

- Scribe Facility: Available for fully visually impaired/physically disabled candidates who are completely unable to write. Scribe must be brought by the candidate. Scribe’s qualification should not be more than Intermediate level of the exam year. Additional 30 minutes will be given to such candidates.
