- Recruitment is under the Karnataka Subordinate Courts (Ministerial and Other Posts) (Recruitment) Rules, 1982, as amended in 2007 and 2021.
- Cadre: Kalyana Karnataka Vrinda – Local Cadre (Article 371-J). Local-cadre eligibility certificate from competent authority is mandatory.
- One-time age relaxation of 5 years is available for all candidates for applications invited up to 31.12.2027, per Government Order No. CASuE 262 SENE 2025 dated 29.01.2026.
- Reservation-category certificates must be in prescribed formats: SC/ST – Form D; Category-1 – Form E; Category-2A/2B/3A/3B – Form F. Only certificates obtained for employment purposes are accepted.
- Rural-reservation candidates must have studied class 1 to 10 entirely in a rural area, certified in Form-2, countersigned by the Field/Range Education Officer and the concerned Tahsildar.
- The PwD post under Process Server is earmarked specifically for candidates with low-vision/blindness. If no eligible candidate is available, the post will be carried forward to future recruitment.
- If 10th-standard marks are shown as grades, candidates must convert grades to marks and obtain a marks statement from the competent authority.
- A candidate submitting more than one application for the same post will have only the last submitted application considered.
- Caste, category and other reservation certificates obtained after the application deadline will not be considered.
- Candidates already in Government service must submit a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) before the final selection order is issued.
