Selection Procedure:

  • Selection will be made on the basis of a Walk-in Interview conducted by a duly constituted Selection Board.

  6. Candidates applying under OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PWD category must possess a valid certificate issued by competent authority for appointment in Central Govt. Institutions, issued before the date of interview.
  7. On the day of Walk-in Interview, candidates should produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer.
  8. Selected candidates must open an SB Account in State Bank of India (any branch) if not already held.

Important Information:

  • Contract Period: Teaching Faculty – 1 year, extendable up to 3 years on satisfactory performance. Senior Residents – 1 year. Contract terminates if regular incumbent joins.
  • Caution/Security Deposit: Professor – Rs. 2,46,006/-; Associate Professor – Rs. 1,63,589/-; Assistant Professor – Rs. 1,40,545/-; Senior Resident – Rs. 1,40,545/-. To be submitted via Demand Draft in favour of ESI Corporation payable at Kalaburagi at the time of joining. Refundable after completion of contract period on production of No Dues Certificate.
  • Termination: Contract can be terminated by either side with one month’s notice. Absence beyond 15 days without prior permission will be treated as abandonment of duty and contract will be terminated without notice, with security deposit forfeited.
  • No Regularization: Selected candidates will have no claim for regularization of services in ESIC Hospital/Medical Institution.
  • No TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for interview or joining.
  • No PF/Pension/Gratuity: No claim for PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical allowances, Seniority, Promotion and Leave (except as specified) will be admissible.
  • Leave: Selected Faculty will be entitled to Earned Leave and Half Pay Leave as admissible to temporary Government servants under Central Civil Services (Leave Rules), 1972. Senior Residents will be entitled to 2.5 Casual Leave on completion of each calendar month.
  • Attendance: Medical Officers are required to mark attendance manually as well as on Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) daily during scheduled working days.
  • NOC Required: Candidates must produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer on the day of Walk-in Interview.
  • Vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease without any intimation.
  • ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  • EWS Criteria: Family gross annual income below Rs. 8.00 Lakh from all sources.
