- Contract Basis: Appointment is purely on contract basis for one year or till alternate arrangements are made, whichever is earlier. Contract may be extended for one more year subject to approval; total contract shall not exceed two years.
- Termination: Appointment can be terminated by either side with one month’s notice or payment of one month’s salary.

- No Private Practice: The appointee shall not engage in private practice of any kind during the contract period.
- Exclusive Posting: Faculty appointed at AIIMS-CAPFIMS will be posted exclusively at the CAPFIMS Campus, Maidangarhi, New Delhi.
- PwBD Reservation: 4% of posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (minimum 40% disability). Candidature subject to evaluation by a Medical Board constituted by the Director, AIIMS, New Delhi.
- SC/ST Experience Relaxation: SC/ST candidates may be granted relaxation of up to one year in required experience at the discretion of the competent authority.
- NOC Required: Candidates currently employed in Government/Semi-Government/Quasi-Government/Government-funded autonomous institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer.
