- Age, Qualification & Experience stipulated should be as on 01.08.2026.
- First class is reckoned at 60% aggregate marks. Qualifying marks are relaxable by 5% for SC/ST & PwD candidates.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years additional for PwD candidates (minimum 40% disability).
- Age limit can be relaxed for all categories subject to equivalent years of excess post qualification experience; maximum age with relaxation shall not exceed 57 years (58 years for position code 102).
- Besides Basic Pay, candidates will be eligible for Variable Dearness Allowance, Perquisites & Allowances (currently 15.12% of applicable Basic Pay under Cafeteria System), Company Accommodation/HRA, Provident Fund, Gratuity, PRP etc.
- Private sector candidates applying for Executive Director, Chief General Manager and General Manager positions must be employed in a company with annual turnover of Rs.1000 crore or more. Preference will be given to candidates from listed companies.
- Candidates applying for position 102 (Head Armoured Business) should have served as Brigadier from Indian Army. Maximum age cap is 58 years.
- Internal candidates of BEML Ltd (Executive cadre) meeting the advertised criteria are eligible, provided application is received through proper channel and candidate has at least 3 years of residual service as on closing date.
- Candidates employed in Central/State Government, Autonomous bodies, Quasi-Government and PSU should have worked for at least one (1) year in the immediate lower scale (not applicable to Grade-II positions).
