Selection Procedure

- The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the following examinations:
- Manager: Written Exam Part-I (180 marks) + Part-II (180 marks) = Total 360 marks (No Skill Test)
- Secretary Grade-III: Written Exam Part-I (180 marks) + Part-II (180 marks) + Skill Test (150 marks) = Total 510 marks
- Care Taker: Written Exam Part-I (80 marks) + Part-II (180 marks) + Skill Test (100 marks) = Total 360 marks
- Junior Assistant (Typist): Written Exam Part-I (180 marks) + Part-II (180 marks) + Skill Test (100 marks) = Total 460 marks
- Only candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination (as per the exam scheme) will be called for the Skill Test. A maximum of 5 times the number of vacancies will be called for the Skill Test.

- Probation Period: Selected candidates will initially be appointed on a 2-year probation period with fixed remuneration. Regular pay scale with allowances will be given after satisfactory completion of probation.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS male candidates of Rajasthan: 5 years
- General category women: 5 years
- SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS women of Rajasthan: 10 years

- Widows and Divorced women: No upper age limit (subject to retirement age)
- Reservation: Reservation benefits for SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS are applicable only to domiciles of Rajasthan. Candidates from other states will be treated as General category. Women’s reservation is 30% (horizontal, category-wise), including 8% for widows and 2% for divorced women.
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan or Tibetan refugees who came to India before 01-01-1962, or persons of Indian origin who have migrated from specified countries with intention to permanently settle in India.
- Disqualification for Appointment: Candidates with more than one living spouse, those who accepted dowry at marriage, those debarred by any recruitment/exam board, tobacco/gutka users, and those with more than 2 children born on or after 01-06-2002 are not eligible.
- Documents Required at Verification: Caste certificate, BC/MBC certificate (non-creamy layer), EWS Income & Assets Certificate, educational/professional qualification certificates, age proof (Secondary exam certificate), disability certificate (40% or more from competent medical authority), character certificate, police verification certificate, medical fitness certificate, marriage registration certificate (if married), and NOC from current employer (if already in government service).
- Exam Medium: Hindi or English as per the nature of the exam and BIP’s discretion. Objective type question papers may be bilingual or unilingual.
- Scribe Facility: Available for benchmark disabled candidates (blindness, locomotor disability – BA/BLA, Cerebral Palsy) with permanent adverse effect on writing speed, on production of certificate from CMHO/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent. Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of exam will be given to those using a scribe or having physical limitation to write.
