- Nature of Appointment: Purely contractual basis. Does not confer any right to claim permanent employment in Bihar State Sports Authority.
- Tenure: Initial period of 2 years, extendable annually for up to 3 additional years (2+1+1+1), subject to satisfactory performance. Maximum tenure shall not exceed 5 years and shall remain coterminous with the Khelo India Scheme.
- Organisation: Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE), Bihar – located at State Sports Academy, Rajgir, Bihar.
- No TA/DA: No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion. No DA, Accommodation, HRA, LTC, Medical reimbursement, or other allowances are admissible.
- Leave: 30 days leave per calendar year on pro-rata basis. Unused leave lapses and cannot be carried forward.
- Tax: Income Tax/TDS will be deducted at source as per prevailing rules.
- Confidentiality: Selected persons are bound by the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923 and cannot divulge any information gathered during the period of engagement.
- Termination: Services can be discontinued with one month’s notice if performance is unsatisfactory. Immediate termination in case of misconduct, unauthorized absence, or violation of employment terms.
- Age Proof: Matriculation/Secondary School Leaving Certificate or equivalent recognized by an Indian University. Aadhaar Card/Passport/Voter ID also accepted. Horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, etc. are NOT accepted.
- Original Certificates: Selected candidates must produce original certificates at the time of joining. Failure to do so will lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Jurisdiction: Any litigation matters shall be restricted to the jurisdiction of Bihar courts.
