- Selection will be made on the basis of academic qualification as per order no ME/HS-03-10/M/616 Dated 25.04.2013 of Director of Medical Education, Govt. of West Bengal, Dept. of H&FW.
- Merit List Preparation:
- Column I: Percentage of marks obtained in Final MBBS exam (General Medicine, General Surgery, G&O, Paediatric Medicine, Ophthalmology, ENT) in excess of 50% marks, computed on a scale of 25 (Maximum: 25 marks).
- Column II: University Honours/Gold Medals – 02 marks each subject (Maximum: 05 marks).
- Column III: Deduction – 01 mark for each chance lost (Maximum deduction: 03 marks).
- Column IV (Total): Columns I + II + III (Maximum: 30 marks).
- Draft Merit List will be published on 16.05.2026 on the college website and notice board.
- Final Merit List will be published on 18.05.2026.
- Counselling will be held on 19.05.2026 at 11 AM at the Academic Building of DHGMCH, Diamond Harbour.
