- Objective/MCQ Test (100 Marks): The exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions covering English (25 marks), Hindi (25 marks), General Knowledge including Current Affairs (25 marks), and Arithmetic (25 marks). Duration: 120 minutes (160 minutes for PwD candidates). Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer applies.

- Interview (15 Marks): Candidates shortlisted up to a maximum of 10 times the total vacancies will be called for interview conducted by O/o Ld. Principal District & Sessions Judge (HQs). There are no minimum qualifying marks for the interview.
- Final Merit: Based on combined marks in Objective/MCQ Examination and Interview. Final merit list shall be prepared by District and Sessions Courts, Tis Hazari, Delhi.
- Tie-breaking: If two or more candidates secure equal marks, the candidate senior in age is placed higher. If dates of birth are also the same, the candidate whose first name comes first alphabetically (in English) is placed higher.
- Skill Test / Endurance Test / Driving Test: May be conducted as per job requirement.

- Eligibility: Candidate must be a citizen of India. Age eligibility reckoned as on 01/06/2026. Educational qualification and experience determined as on 11/11/2026.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC – 3 years; PwBD+UR/EWS – 10 years; PwBD+SC/ST – 15 years; PwBD+OBC – 13 years; Ex-Servicemen – Period of Military service + 3 years (max up to 55 years).
- OBC Certificate: Only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by Govt. of NCT of Delhi are eligible for OBC reservation. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate must be issued on/after 01/04/2026 and not later than 11/11/2026.
