- Konkani Language Requirement: In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with knowledge of Konkani, GPSC may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit, and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government on the recommendation of GPSC for Group ‘A’ posts in Professional Colleges and Consultants in the Directorate of Health Services.
- PwD Vacancy Note (Homeopathic Physician): In case of non-availability of candidates in the PwD category, the equal number of posts will be kept vacant from the General Category.
- Principal Appointment Term: The term of appointment of the College Principal shall be five years with eligibility for re-appointment for one more term only after a similar selection committee process.
- Qualification Relaxation: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of GPSC in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Experience qualifications are relaxable for SC/ST candidates at the discretion of GPSC.
- PwD Relaxation (Assistant Professor): A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the PwD category for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions.
- Application Fee Payment: Fee must be paid on or before the last date. Applications where fee payment is made after the last date will be summarily rejected with no refund.
