Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Preliminary Examination (Part-1) – Objective Type (MCQs): One paper of 150 marks, duration 2 hours. Conducted via CBRT/OMR mode. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for all categories. This is a screening test only; marks will NOT be counted in the final merit list.
- Main Examination (Part-2) – Descriptive Type: Two papers of 100 marks each, duration 3 hours each.
– Paper 1: Gujarati Language (50 marks) + English Language (50 marks)
– Paper 2: Accountancy and Auditing, etc. (100 marks)
Minimum qualifying marks: 40% in each paper for all categories. - Document Verification: Category-wise verification of original certificates.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on marks obtained in Main Examination (Part-2) only. Approximately 7 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from Preliminary Examination results.
- Note: If Preliminary Examination is conducted in multiple sessions via CBRT, Normalization of scores will be applied for shortlisting candidates for Main Examination.
